file size limit

Post by vodkajello »

The company I work for uses ExamDiff to analize the differences in results generated by gas volume simulators. These plain text files can be very large, up to 30GB.

The best tool we can find is ExamDiff Pro, but we need a 64 bit version that won't run out of space. Is there such a version available? Maybe one in testing that we can get a copy of?

Thanks,

There's no currently 64-bit version available, although we have plans to port EDPro to 64 bits in near future. BTW, EDPro compares by chunks when files are binary (you can actually treat any file as binary in Option | Compare), and only if all that's needed is the simple message that the files are identical or different.
