In the Win 32 version my plugins are no more applied and no more shown, even if they are still regularily present in the registry settings. Only the "standard" ones are available.
(The 64 bitter version doesn't have this problem.)
Give me back my plugins, please! :-)
Re: Give me back my plugins, please! :-)
We'll look at this in a couple of weeks: vacation time.

Re: Give me back my plugins, please! :-)
Here's what I did:
1. Installed the latest 32-bit build on Windows 10.
2. Created a test plug-in that uses C:\WINDOWS\system32\sort.exe
3. Compared two files, and the plug-in was applied
4. Restarted EDP, the plug-in is still there

Re: Give me back my plugins, please! :-)
Here is what I did:
- updated my copy of EDP 32 bit to 15.0.1.6 on XP;
- compared two files that used to be processed by plugins and discovered that they are not anymore;
- looked at Tools->Options->Plugins and saw that all the non-standard plugins are not listed;
- Looked at the registry and discovered that the entries in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PrestoSoft\ExamDiff Pro\Plug-ins are all perfect;
- Discovered that a new key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PrestoSoft\ExamDiff Pro\Plug-ins.15.0 has been created and only contains the standard plugins...
Re: Give me back my plugins, please! :-)
Yes, version 15 allows versioning of plug-ins, and when run for the first time it will use HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PrestoSoft\ExamDiff Pro\Plug-ins key. When closed, EDP 15 will save plug-ins to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PrestoSoft\ExamDiff Pro\Plug-ins.15.0.
Perhaps something went wrong at some point (during the beta?) that resulted in not copying plug-ins initially. Try deleting HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PrestoSoft\ExamDiff Pro\Plug-ins.15.0 and run EDP again.
BTW, even if the initial state of this key is incorrect, you can still add your plug-ins there, and they are saved for you, right?
