Ignoring column ranges is broken

Post by AlexL »

Here are two files:

file1.txt:

111 Line1
111 Line2

file2.txt:

222 Line1
222 Line2

Comparison options:
Ignore column ranges 1-3 (columns are defined as characters).

EDP v12:
Shows no differences as it should be.

EDP v13.0.1.4:
Shows both lines different.
I think this is a bug.

I wanted to try other sub-versions of v13 (to find when this bug appeared), but not sure how to find them.

Could you check/fix the comparison problem please?

Thanks for reporting it, we'll fix this in the next build of 13.0.
