FtpVC 2.5 Beta

Version 2.5 introduces improved Find Checkouts and Find By Status behavior, an option to minimize FtpVC to the system tray, Windows Vista support, and other major additions.

I am trying the new beta but after doing a find check out or find by status, it systematically gives the following error message:
Could not open file find connection: The operation timed out (error 12002)
