ExamDiff Pro 1.6m -- Memory reference error

Hi,
I am experiencing an issue with ExamDiff throwing an application error when trying to compare two text files.
ExamDiff.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x0041622a" referenced memory at "0x0099fff8". The memory can not be "read".
I've restarted the machine, reinstalled the application, but alas it still continues to popup. Sometimes it's instant, sometimes it takes a few seconds for the error to poup.
Any ideas why this is occurring?
