powerpoint plug no longer works - tried v11 and v12

I don't know exactly when, but recently the powerpoint comparison (PPTX) no longer works on my PC (Win10, 64bit). I used to use this regularly, but it has been a while (maybe related to Windows and/or Office update?).
I checked the plugins versions - they are the same as what is listed on the PrestoSoft plugins page.

I haven't checked all of the plugins, but Word (docx), Excel (xlsx), and pdf plugins still work.
The OOXML2Txt.exe produced no output and its return code was 0. the following error was returned: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Any suggestions?
