3.2b might not correctly exclude directory path

In the Directory Comparison screen of 3.2b, under Filters, I directed ExamDiffPro to Exclude files when the following directory(s) are found in the path: cse,orig,noncse,*.bak
This worked in version 3.0. Perhaps it's interpreted differently in 3.2b.
I prefer the 3.0 interpretation. That is, if the directory of file name matches the pattern I entered, don't compare it.
Any observations?
