What Windows version and resolution is this under?

Windows XP, 1280x1024, character size normal but screen DPI = 120.

Can't reproduce. Could you post screenshots of your Display settings and the whole Options page in question?

Odd, exactly the same settings but look different (e.g. you have "(120)" instead of "(120 dpi)" on the last screenshot, so even Windows seems to misbehave. Anyway, we'll try to increase the space for the line even though there appears to be no way to test the result locally.
