Editor Arguments?

Post by Dedw8 »

Great software, helping me out immensely for a very specific task I had to complete.

One thing, I've tried both notepad and wordpad using the 'Current Difference' and 'Caret Position' and neither seem to be working. Notepad tried to create a new file. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,

These are command line options for your text editor, and they will only work if the editor support such options (AFAIK Notepad doesn't), and then you need to provide proper command line switches. Example of such syntax for Textpad:

$FILE($CARET,0)

Thanks kindly for the reply. Great getting this kind of response for Freeware thats been around for a long time, and whose forums have been light for years!

Cheers!
