A suggestion I would like to make:

While the two files are up for comparison, make a selection and then from the tool bar, click on IGNORE to remove the selection from comparisons.

Not sure if it should be same color as matching text, removed, or fade it. There may be a solution with the options or a match file, but a tool bar solution would be easier.

I think it's a good idea. I'll add the following suggestion to ExamDiff Pro wish list at http://www.prestosoft.com/ps.asp?page=edp_suggestions :

"Ability to ignore text fragments selected in file comparison panes"
