3.2c (eval) bug found

Post by ssb »

I was evaluating ExamDiff Pro 3.2c, when found the following bug.

In Options/Misc/General i had configured external editor to use UltraEdit with arguments $FILE -l$CARET -c$COLUMN. No problem so far, it worked great when editing text files.
In Options/Binary i used same editor for binary files, but no arguments.

The problem is that binary "View/Edit" opens configured editor with arguments used for text editing.
Even using a different binary editor, it always uses text editing arguments, instead those configured for binary editing.

Also found a second minor issue...
I tried to set ESCAPE as exit key for both text and binary edits. It works with text but fails to exit binary window. Actually it works until clicking inside binary contents.

I hope it helps.

Thank you for your bug report. You are correct on both accounts. The problems will be fixed in the next public build.
