Can't remove participation in syntax highlighting

Post by AlexL »

Hello.

I compare two .CPP files, and EDP always paints panels according to C++ syntax, without regard to "Participate in syntax highlighting" option state.

I see "CPP" extension only in one document type, where I try to remove the participation.

Recompare or relaunching EDP after changing this option does not help. Changing this option also does not cause recomparing (but I don't know if it should).

In addition, entering "Document Types" sub-menu always returns me to "Default/Plain Text" line of this sub-menu, regardless of where I was earlier in it.

Thank you.

This is a bug; it will be fixed in the next build of 4.0 beta.

None of the Options listboxes remember your last selection. After all, they are just collections of items, and their current selection doesn't change the application behavior (unlike that of the comboboxes).
