"New Topic" from search-forum-results window

Post by Yahoo Serious »

While I'm at it (posting bugs/requests, that is): before adding a new topic, I search the forums, and scan the resulting subjects. However, it is not possible to start a New Topic from the search-forum-results window.
Could you add that?

Cheers, Yahoo.

I'm not sure it's possible in phpbb-based forums. Does anybody know?

Hello.

If I understood the question properly, the search gives articles with their respective forum names. E.g.:

- Forum Topic Author Replies...
- Forum Topic Author Replies...
- Forum Topic Author Replies...

Since "Forum" parts can be different, you can't add a new topic, because the forum engine does not know in what forum to create it.

Thank you.

However, one could be searching just one forum.
(But I agree, it's not as simple as I thought at first glance.)
