installing question

hello,

I have windows xp pro sp 2 and i just installed the latest version. I installed as I have always done in the past by just unzipping the examdiff.exe to a folder that I manually created.
I did however notice that there is a larger setup zip folder that must have a windows installer. is there any advantage or disadvantage to using it instead?
Are there any issues with not using it such as later removal of registry keys if exam diff in fact creates any, which I dont believe it does.
Please advise if I should remove the .exe and run the complete installer?
Also, can you tell me if I want to remove the product at this point, is it just a matter of deleting the examdiff.exe from the folder?

Thanks

Tee setup zip contains an installer, which allows to later uninstall
ExamDiff using a shortcut created during installation.

It actually does: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PrestoSoft\ExamDiff

This is not necessary.

Yes, plus removal of the Registry key.
