Subst should be OK. And yes, FtpVC can handle your number of files and more.

As far as not being able to get it to work, and its slow performance, I'll need more information from you to figure that out. The logging instructions have been sent you as a private message.

Undo is view-specific. In other words, in order to undo a change, click in the changed view (file comparison pane) first.

Sorry, may I ask you why adding variables' set that I suggested is worse (I mean "$INPUTFILE2NAME", "$INPUTFILE2PATH", etc.)? I thought they are more consistent with your old variables. And as I suggested, you will certainly leave old variables also supported as is - for compati...

No, there's still no such feature. However, I think we can add to the next build of 3.4 Beta. However, in order to preserve backward compatibility, I'd keep $INPUTFILEPATH and add $SECONDINPUTFILEPATH. I'd also add just one new variable in order to keep the GUI minimal. You are right, "Copy to Clipboard" copies only file names. What I meant is that when you paste, actual files will be pasted, not their names with other text information like in "Copy as Text" case.

Neither "Copy to Clipboard" nor "Copy as Text" actually copy files. This is not correct. "Copy to Clipboard" actually does copy files to the Clipboard. It is just like Copy operation in Windows Explorer. And while the right click menu separates the operations on slices...

I'm always looking for the "Copy to Third Directory" right-click menu entry on directory comparisons; why is it hidden between the Ctrl-C and Ctrl-Shift-C items and not next to the other two "Copy to ... directory" items? Because it's similar to "Copy to Clipboard" and...

In order to create a directory snapshot you have to get to the directory comparison view by comparing two directories, then select Directories | Create Snapshot menu command. Alternatively, use Directories | Save Snapshot... command to create a snapshot of either first or the second directory.
