Re: Shell integration
I forgot to tell: reinstalling ExamDiffPro 12.0.1.11 32 did not solve anything.

Shell integration
Let's state it clearly: I can not be certain, but... After having installed EDP12.0.1.12 32 on my old faithful (WinXP) the EDP shell integration doesn't work anymore. I didn't anything else, but I can not gurantee for my wife... Is it possible there is a bug in the installer? N.B. In the options I s...

Re: comparison is triping
Probably a naive question: isn't it possible to apply to binary files the (or, at least, some of) the algorithms now selectable for text?

Re: The difference is made by EDP!
As a programmer, I find the idea of wrapping lines of code quite strange. Perhaps that's because most of my professional programming was done in languages whose origins were in 80-column cards, then 80-column terminal windows, though. Even now with much wider text editor windows I simply wouldn't t...

Re: The difference is made by EDP!
It's one of those situations, which seems easy to fix but... Well, I didn't think a lot about it, but it looked far from simple to me. Maybe with an option to collapse the blank space (i.e. every sequence of spaces and/or tabs is collapsed to a single space)? I think I saw something like that in a ...

Re: Zoom?
Sorry, I skipped to say that I'm using an Italian keyboard. When I say "the key '+''' I mean a key on the immediate left of the big main "enter" (scan key 0x1B, virtual key 0xBB) whose function is: standard = "+" shift = "*" alt graph, i.e. ctrl alt = "]"...

Zoom?
No, not the video communicator! I mean the magnifier! :D I was comparing a couple of C files when I tried to edit one of them in EDP. With my great surprise, instead of seeing appear what I was typing, the panes were zooming. The cause was the "}", not such a rare char in C! The sam...

The difference is made by EDP!
I don't know what triggers the effect, but sometimes, if I select "ignore white space" and "word wrap", two lines who differs only in blank space are wrapped differently and then higlighted as different.
For example, try with the attached files.

Hex dump
Hint for a new feature.
When comparing two binary files, now the copy command copies the binary data. That's good.
But sometimes I'd like to have the possibility of copying the hex dump and/or the ASCII version of the data.
It should be easy to implement.

Re: Hot wheels :-)
Good, thank you.
But... there is a technical reason for the wheel being ignored during manual resynch on XP?
