I'm sorry but I don't think there's anything to be done regarding both issues. GUI programs are always launched with their main windows going to the foreground (try, for example, selecting two XLS files in Explorer and using Open command: two Excel windows will pop up). Using program names in captio...

Sometimes I load up to 20 copies of EDP at once. I wish that while I work, the windows load in the background, rather than foreground. I'm not sure what you mean here. Could you elaborate? In addition, it would be nice if we could customize the titlebar text format. e.g. now it is "ExamDiff Pr...

Typical reasons for such message are incorrect "Remote directory" and "FtpVC directory (relative to the remote directory)" settings in Project Options | Startup. Please make sure that your stub and version files are indeed located in the latter directory.

I'm afraid there's no way to achieve what you need. I guess it never occurred to us that, when filters are used with word-wrapped text, whole lines have to preserved, even if some of their parts are identical.

Yes. These are not regular expressions; they are comma-separated (as the name states at the top of Options | Dir Comparison ("Name filters (comma-separated patterns)") DOS-style patterns. So in your case you'd use

*.exe,*.dll

ExamDiff Pro doesn't have this feature. We are planning to add it in the next release. Unless you are simply trying to de-synchronize vertical scrollbars -- that is possible by unsetting "Synchronize vertical scrolling (file comparison)" in Options | Display.

Shouldn't the file entered as File 1 be the new source, and File 2 the old (or original) source? Have I missunderstod something?
Not necessarily. In ExamDiff (as well as in many other diff tools) the first file is treated as the original file.
