EDPro already allows command line processing (type "examdiff /?" in Command Prompt). Also, if you compare two folders and output HTML report, you'll get total stats for all compared files. This doesn't still cover your "batch processing" suggestion. Perhaps the following feature ...

When you have a new instance of the program, if you turn off white-spaces then close the window (returning to the old instance) the setting you made to turn off white-spaces arnt saved. I dont think any setting is :S. I had to turn off new instance for file to make it get rid of the "..."...

Are you sure you used the latest build? I can't reproduce the problem. The most latest build on the web site now contains detailed traces for filtering. Please run it and send me the output.

It uses case-insensitive lexicographical comparison (like stricmp in C). If one of the limits is not specified, the comparison is open-ended. However, there was a bug in the current build. The fix is now is in the latest build.

No such ability. EDP is first and foremost a visual diff tool, and its command line is normally just a way to either start the program in a certain way, or to output diffs in a certain format and exit.

While I couldn't reproduce the problem with Undo Check-out, the bug in Check In is fixed in the latest build of 2.3 beta on the web site. And yes, FtpVC does compare CRCs.

I uploaded a new build of 2.3 beta on the web site. It has new traces -- hopefully enough to figure out the problem. Please run it and send the trace after the program hangs.

There's already feature on the wish list that seems to fit your needs: "Option to switch between list views and collapsible/expandable tree views in recursive directory comparison". Perhaps you need to add your vote there.
