Re: Problem: importing settings can mess up EDP
I strongly suggest backing up the registry branch beforehand, so it can be restored if things go south.

Re: How do I compare files from the explorer interface using a session?
Yes, but it will apply the session to *all* comparisons made from explorer. That does not help if I want to compare two files with one session, then another two files with another sesssion, etc. Basically an ad-hoc decision that I find happens quite often. It would be helpful to switch sessions whil...

How do I compare files from the explorer interface using a session?
I would like to select 2 files in explorer to compare via the right-click menu, and have the comparison done using the settings saved in the session of my choice. However, it seems that the files are always compared using the "unnamed default session" and I found no way of changing the ses...

Re: Bug: Ignored lines by regex do not work always
Hmmm... Then why am getting different behaviour with the two filters? Specifically: setting name='[^']*(icon|signedo|lasts|last_s|mute|photo)[^']*' Colours the lines differently based on that setting. While setting name='[^']*(icon|signedo|last|mute|photo)[^']*' Colours the lines the same, regardles...

Re: Bug: Ignored lines by regex do not work always
Forgot to add arrows to the 1st screenshot, but it happens there as well. Also: seems to happen when the line is missing in the other file, but not consistently. Interestingly, does not seem to happen with this regex: setting name='[^']*(icon|signedo|last|mute|photo)[^']*' (but that's not the one I ...

Bug: Ignored lines by regex do not work always
For the following regex:
Some matching lines are still displayed in red or blue:
Code: Select all
setting name='[^']*(icon|signedo|lasts|last_s|mute|photo)[^']*'

Re: Navigating to prev/next difference issue
Hi psguru, A checkbox or button for enabling/disabling this behavior, plus a default setting, should suffice. If we go ahead with this, the change will appear in version 13.0. I must be missing something: Capture.JPG 2. Is there a way to "unskip" all the skipped diffs? There is no such com...

Re: Navigating to prev/next difference issue
Another option is to keep the Skip functionality as is and simply exclude resolved diffs from navigation. A checkbox or button for enabling/disabling this behaviour, plus a default setting, should suffice. And speaking of skipped blocks, I have a couple of comments: 1. The diff-bar colour of a sele...

Navigating to prev/next difference issue
The problem is that navigating to next/prev difference also considers resolved differences, which makes navigating to *actual* differences inconvenient.

Re: Git integration question
Doesn't work when drilling down into individual files.
