Urgent - EDP 6.0.0.1 crashes comparing directories
After upgrading to 6.0.0.1 I can no longer compare directories.
Some times, it just exits silently. Other times, I get the dialog asking me to email the minidump but the process exits immediately when I hit OK.
Please advise.

Re: IniSorter plugin failure
Great!
Could you also add a "last modified" column to the plugin list?

IniSorter plugin failure
The IniSorter plugin returns errors on all but the most trivial ini files that we have: Failed to execute plug-in "C:\Program Files\ExamDiff Pro\Plug-Ins\IniSorter\IniSorter.exe" /o "C:\Temp\TCV40638.tmp\sample.1.1.ini" (its return code was 1 instead of expected 0). The plug-in r...

Re: Feature requests & bug report
Hello psguru, We are actually working on implementing a line inspector like this in our next ExamDiff Pro release. Good to hear! The scroll bars and diff bars are part of the comparison panes and thus bring focus to the comparison panes. To do otherwise would be somewhat illogical and would confuse ...

Feature requests & bug report
Hello, I am a long time user of EDPro. I am generally satisfied with the program but there are some missing features that make some common operations more difficult than they should be. The fact that some of those features are implemented in the GPL WinMerge program, makes EDPro a tough sell to most...

Re: Comparing Filenames
That was my understanding as well.
What I would like is a "never compare contents" option.
It should not be too hard to implement.

Re: Comparing Filenames
Allow me to to join the request for this feature. The ability to quickly compare two directory trees ignoring the contents of files is very useful. I often need to find out only what files were added, removed or changed size. This comparison can be extremely quick if file contents can be ignored. Ho...

Hello psguru, How can a program find out the full path to ExamDiff Pro? The following key [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{58549232-7081-4541-882C-767DB238453C}\InprocServer32] is a reliable way to get the directory of EDPro by means of getting the path of EDPShell.dll, which is located in the same folder....

Excellent! Thank you very much! Can you tell me from what version they were supported? Are there any other undocumented options like that? Another question: How can a program find out the full path to ExamDiff Pro? So far I found these registry entries: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{FA96052D-3069-42D3...
