Empty vs virtually empty dirs

I often meet an odd case. Suppose you have an empty dir in a pane and a correspondent not empty dir in the other. If all the files in the not empty dir are filtered out then that directory disappears completely and what you get from EDP is: "there is an empty dir in a pane with no correspondent...

Re: How to compare two TXT files?

For complex operations like these I suggest Xplorer2: http://zabkat.com/
Very powerful.
N.B. Probably for your needs the free version (http://zabkat.com/x2lite.htm) is too limited.

The bottom line ,-)

Comparing two text files with differences that include the last text line, if the last line does not not have neither CR or LF then the last line colors (status) are not updated after a "replace block" is commanded.
Nothing so terrible, a recompare realigns everything. :-)

N.B. In the registry,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSaveMRU\edps
contains:
C:\Tmp\ExamDiff Pro Settings-Feb-03-2014 22-06.edps
and also the other filenames i tried.

Re: Export problems

:?: :?: :?: I don't know what to say.

The "old fashion" "export options to file" works fine.
You can find my options here attached.

What can I do to help?

Re: Export problems

Nope. It seems the name is not important. I have a doubt. While I'm positive I saved (exported) the settings with the 64 bit version, I'm not sure I ever saved them in the (XP) 32 bit. Probably I never did it, so the problem is not new. Sorry, my memory is quite volatile! :( N.B. I also retried afte...

Re: Export problems

No errors.
The dialog closes as if everything was correct but nothing is saved, exactly as if I clicked "cancel".
I accept the suggested filename and, of course, I have full write rights in that directory.
(I tried some and also the desktop)

TortoiseSVN

I'm experimenting with TortoiseSVN. In the help they say: The window titles are not pure filenames. TortoiseSVN treats that as a name to display and creates the names accordingly. So e.g. if you're doing a diff from a file in revision 123 with a file in your working copy, the names will be filename ...
