Maybe these images can help illustrate my point? In the present situation, one can hardly notice which lines exist and which don't. you have to seacrh for presence/absence of line numbers: http://img401.imageshack.us/my.php?image=edpnonexistentlineseparic1.jpg In the suggested situation, with a sepa...

Well, I'm glad that bug got fixed so quickly. In the meantime it seems like my reply concerning the original 'request' was deleted. (I could not post multiple messages one after another, and I thought I did post it later. It now seems both replies were deleted because of it. Fortunately I still have...

Well, if these settings are really missing in the .ini (not just because I happen to have the defaults, or whatever), it seems like I would have to either carry along my registry, or manually set all these settings again. In that case you might as well drop the use of an .ini altogether? Seems to me...

Hmm, I did not post an image before, let me see if this will do it: http://img139.imageshack.us/my.php?image=edpignoredlinecoloringxd5.jpg (For coloring explanation: see StatusBar) Notice the left non-existent lines oppossing the inserted Right linenumbers 1652, 1653, the coloring is green for inser...

color on 'non-existing' lines corresponding to ignored lines
If lines are inserted or deleted, the non-existing blank lines on the opposite get a color (actually the same inserted or deleted color, or the changed color when part of larger block). However, when the ignored lines in one file result in non-existing blank lines on the opposite, these non-existing...

I can't reproduce it anymore ... Just turning all sound down/off is not an option, since I will need my general system notifications (and some .wav audio for work). But maybe this is a specific sound which I can turn off via Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devices > Sounds ? (I don't see an ExamDiff...

Burt this time I mean the difference between the .ini and the .reg for a single version. I was hoping these would be the same, so one can carry the same settings along, without bothering with the registry. When you export the registry (and convert it to Ansi) and then compare it to the .ini, ignorin...
