Might this be a problem of the changed license? (I recently left...

Filter: I am speaking about the View - Use View Filter feature which toggles whether all is displayed or just the differences When I compare two folders, I switch to "differences only" (as I am not interested in loads of identical files). From the result list, I use "Compare matched" to see what is ...

"Use View Filter": separate setting for files/fold

Hi, I like to only see differences when comparing folders, but prefer to see everything when comparing files. Right now I have to switch the "Use View Filter" thing quite often - ExamDiff Pro uses the setting from the folder comparison for the file comparison opened from there ... I wish there were ...

Hm. Ok. But why is it not done consequently? If Unicode characters are allowed in paths, they should be allowed in Extensions as well (e.g. Extensions/Descriptions/Regexs for "Ignore Comments") ... (I don't need it, just wondering - I restrict myself to a-zA-Z0-9-_. for filenames [if there is a spac...

Options - why hex values for paths?

Hello,

I just had a look at the Options.txt which is generated when the options are exported.

Why are path values given as Hex instead of normal text?

It's safer to use

Code: Select all

:*\.svn\*
Why should :*.svn* exclude important.synonyms.txt?

or with other words:
Why shoud a 'vee' (v) match a 'why' (y)?

;-)

just a suggestion:

c) Option b) in combination with a new command line option --save_these_settings (or something similar)

Only if the additional parameter is set, the settings would be written to the registry (or wherever they are stored)
