BUG: "column expansion" prevents keystroke actions
If you have long file names, longer than can be displayed in the file list layout, and you hover the mouse over that name, the system will display the full filename in a tool tip sort of mode. While this "column expansion" mode (or tool tip, if that is more accurate) is active, you cannot ...

BUG: edit of unchecked out file affects repository
View a file that is not checked out In the viewer (aka, editor) make changes and then save the file (I know, dumb, but sometimes you forget!) Exit the viewer Refresh -- the file shows as current Do a get on the file -- it now shows as out of date After the get, the local file is the modified copy sa...

That got me too
I'd second the vote for adding empty directories when doing a recursive add.
But, if the app is coded to scan for files, that would be a fundamental change.
Probably easier to just add a dummy file and then delete it later.

BUG: FtpVC 2.3 treeview refresh
This is a minor issue. If you remove a directory from the source path, refreshing will update the listview (righthand panel) but the deleted directory remains in the treeview (lefthand panel). Seems like the treeview should be a way to refresh the treeview. Collopsing and expanding the nodes and/or ...

The joys of written communication...
...especially by peeps who tend to be terse rather than verbose  db, I believe what psguru was saying was this: Even though the problem is unique to your situation, he realizes FtpVC 2.3 is still in beta and will try to resolve the issue for you. He was trying, albeit with not the best of gram...

I'll try to get you a trace
Since I adjusted the timeout prevention to be shorter than the server's timeout period, I've not really had a problem. But, I'll fiddle with it (unfiddle with it?) and see if I can get a trace.

BUG: The handle is invalid. (error 6)
This has been occurring periodically with the last few beta releases. Auto-refresh is on, and sometimes (not always) when FtpVC does its refresh, an error dialog appears. It will say something like this: #*%/: The handle is invalid. (error 6) The first bit is usually gibberish. I presume this is som...

suggestion for sandbox server support
I suggested this via email, but thought I'd post it here for comment. My primary use of version control is to maintain a web app in conjuction with people in a variety of geographic locations. We currently use a home grown code management system, but are seriously evaluating FtpVC as a better altern...

bug in date/time and/or crc?
Using the Nov 18 2.3 beta Stub shows checkin time at 2004-11-27 @ 16:04:20 (when I say stub I mean the time in the stub name, not the time of the stub file itself) File on ftp server is dated 2004-11-27 @ 16:04:00 No matter what 'set local file time' option I use to 'get' the file, it always shows o...
