At least on XP and on slow peripherals, when deleting a lot of files (I usually do it by clicking on the relevant arrow to "copy nothing" to the other pane) there is no user feedback that the operation is accepted and in progress. EDP seems locked until the progress dialog "Sorting it...

In the attached screenshot, E:\tmp is empty and D:\tmp contains (only) an empty subdir called "foo".
All the commands to copy (create) the empty directory in the other pane are disabled.
I think previously it was possible to do that kind of copy, or my memory is cheating me?

Comparing trees, there is no way to copy (create) empty directories from a pane to the other.

In my usual XP machine I tried to change the pdf plugin to use an older version of PDFtoText as I already did with the previous versions.
