Pascal

FYI: for the sake of syntax higlighting, the files .pas .dpr .pp and .lpr are all Pascal. .dpr = Delphi project .pp = FreePascal source .lpr = Lazarus project I know, in EDP the extensions for which to use a particular higlighting are user programmable, and indeed I did. :!: At least I hope the next...

Re: Woooosh!

I can understand this, but I don't understand why a static message box and main window must suddenly turn blank.

Re: Woooosh!

You're right: the copy/delete is as usual.
The message box I'm talking about probably comes after, probably when EDP rearranges its lists.

which should use its own messages.
Nope. The message box is the one with the hourglass, at least in the beginning.
Then, as I wrote, the client area is completely clear but has the very same position and size.
I'll try to give you a couple of screenshots.

Re: Woooosh!

I put EDP at work with my periodical 1TB backup. A good test bench. :) I doscovered that if the operation (copy or delete) takes some time, then the message box that appears at first has a steady hourglass, then, after a few seconds, the client areas of the message box and of the main window become ...

Woooosh!

What did you do to EDP?
I didn't change the HW nor the OS, but now EDP is lightning fast.
Wow! :!:

Re: Windows XP/Win Server 2003 Support Poll

Guess who voted fot XP? I expected to be overwhelmed (well, ok, it's always 3 vs 1, but...). instead, very few voted at all. Should I argue that many don't care about it either way? Anyway, I can not blame you too much, should you decide to drop XP. I'm going the way of dinosaur. :( After all...

Slow scroll

At least with my mouse and my screen, the scroll in binary mode with the mouse wheel is terribly slow.

Re: Slim is beautiful?

Re the color bars: I can't say when and how I reduced the width. Very probably it was made by me by mistake. And for them being all in background color: it's simply because the files are short and fit in a window without scrolling! I told you I was sleepy... Sorry. Re the toolbars: Select two...

One more thing: fully custom toolbar only.
I mean: I use only one toolbar and it's fully custom.
