Yes, version 15 allows versioning of plug-ins, and when run for the first time it will use HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PrestoSoft\ExamDiff Pro\Plug-ins key. When closed, EDP 15 will save plug-ins to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PrestoSoft\ExamDiff Pro\Plug-ins.15.0 . Perhaps something went wrong at som...

Here's what I did:

1. Installed the latest 32-bit build on Windows 10.
2. Created a test plug-in that uses C:\WINDOWS\system32\sort.exe
3. Compared two files, and the plug-in was applied
4. Restarted EDP, the plug-in is still there

On the other hand, perhaps we could make these comparison precision options clearer, reflecting the way metadata comparison falls back to full comparison. We are definitely going to look at this for the next release.

From what I can see in your options, full comparison is off. The fast mode does not apply Ignore options (hence "fast").

Hmm, actually, I just tested, and it works for me: one file with just spaced and tabs changed how up as identical in full content comparison mode and ignoring white spaced. Please check your appropriate options.

I cannot reproduce this with the latest build 15.0.1.5. For me, 'Timestamp copied files with current time' works as expected: if this option is set, ExamDiff Pro will set the modified time of all files/directories copied from one pane to another to the current time. Click on "File Types" and make sure All Files are at the top (move up if needed).

The setup fix will be available today.

BTW, on your screenshot the "Use Comparison Filters" toolbar button is pressed, and on the status bars there's the same icon, indicating that some items were filtered out. If you click on it, you will see which. I don't know know it explains the issue but it's hard to debug without a pair ...
