Re: Compare to...
Yes, I can confirm this issue on XP. Well, we'll have to look into it even though XP development is becoming problematic to say the least.

Re: Compare to...
Also, I tried a couple of scenarios (Compare, Select First, Compare To...), and they all work fine in Windows 10.

Re: NAS: Identical Files Are Out Of Date
One possible reason for this is that your file ended up with two stub files. You can verify this by using some FTP client, such as FileZilla, and looking in the FtpVC subdirectory of your file directory. If so, you need to delete the older one, and the problem should go away.

There's a warning about the missing newline at the end of file under Options | Misc | Messages.

Re: Slippery directories
OK, fair point. We'll make the change to sort directory comparison items if an empty directory has been made visible by EDP as a result of deletion. This will go to the next build of 13.0.

Re: Slippery directories
Just to confirm: so you issue is that the newly shown empty directory initially appears in the wrong place? If so, I will argue that sorting of all items to place the newly shown empty directory in the right place is an unnecessary waste of time.

Re: Slippery directories
I probably somewhat understand the problem but could you describe it in steps, preferably with a small zipped example attached?

Re: 13.0.0.8 crash
The crash stack trace points to the new Scope detection code, specifically to an attempt to update the scope tree after editing of one of the compared files. We need a reproducible scenario to debug this but maybe you will have a a better idea now how to reproduce the crash.

Re: The red funnel
I still see it, even after resetting the directory comparison toolbars.
