Re: How about a secure version i.e scp/ssh ?

It has been 10 years since this request. I made a similar one two years ago. Looking at the votes it appears that this is an extremely highly requested feature - way more than double the next highly requested feature. Your last build was quite a while ago. Is there any chance that you will ever, in ...

Re: Checkout, stub issues: can't rename/find/save stub files

This is an old post, but I thought it better to continue it than start a new one with an identical title. FtpVC is occassionally having problems uploading tmp files and renaming stub files. I have tested doing the rename in my FTP client (WS_FTP Pro) with no problems. I also tested doing the rename ...

Removing directory from version control

Is there any way within FtpVC so remove a directory, recursively, from version control? I know I can go on the server and remove all the ftpvc directories. The problem is, I Attached a directory, forgetting it has a sub directory with 100s of subdirectories that I don't want under vc. A command in F...

Can override forceloadoptions.txt and forceloadsettings.txt

If I have forceloadoptions.txt and/or forceloadsettings.txt in the root directory on the remote server, those options and settings are indeed loaded. However, the user can change the options and settings after they are loaded. So, while I may be forcing users to load these options and settings, I am...

Re: Multiple projects with different working folders

Opening multiple instances of FtpVC is indeed an option. However, I work on up to 5 different projects, all on different remote servers. Five instances running adds to my already crowded taskbar. I know it's a lot to ask, but a tabbed interface, with a different project in each tab, would be awsome....

Command line options

ExamDiff Pro has command line options. Does FtpVC? I use EditPlus, and have set up hot keys to send two files to ExamDiff. I'd love to be able to set up keys to at least check in and check out a file via command line options. Obviouosly, not all commands could be done via command line, but there are...

Re: Does not remember status without refreshing

Yes, I did have that off. Sorry! I was trying to speed it up, since when I first installed this, it took 10 minutes to show the files in a directory (my regular ftp client takes a fraction of a second). It appears that isn't a problem now. I don't know what made the difference.

Thanks. Issue closed.

Does not remember status without refreshing

If I click on directory A, the status of all files is "unknown." I click to refresh it. Then I click on directory B, then click on directory A again, and the status has gone back to "unknown." Can the status of a file not be remembered locally so that simply changing to another d...

file symbolic link

Is it possible to show that a file on the remote *nix server is a symbolic link, as is done for directories?
