"Do not perform"still performs

Post by AlexL »

Hello.

1) It seems to me that option "Do not perform fuzzy line matching" does not work. What I see is that both "Always perform fuzzy line matching" with similarity 80 and "Do not perform fuzzy line matching" give the same thing, except that the latter one disables the slider of similarity.

I have to use "Always perform fuzzy line matching" with similarity 0 in order to disable fuzzy logic. I expected that "Do not perform fuzzy line matching" would do the same thing as similarity 0, but this is not what I see.

2) I did not find possibility to toggle fuzzy logic enabling via toolbar.

Thank you.

1) "Do not perform fuzzy line matching" is not the same thing as similarity 0. "Do not perform fuzzy line matching" means that only lines that are identical (considering Ignore options) are matched (aligned). This is the only behavior that existed before version 4.5.

2) There is no toolbar option for this. You'll have to do it in the Options dialog.
