Re: Saving a difference to a text file

The most difficult aspect here is that the line break I'm trying to add is above the folder path an not below. The simpleat idea could be asking the editor to replace "C:\Windows\" with (CR-LF)"C:\Windows\", i.e. put the line break before the next path instead of at the (much mo...

Ignore columns

Today I had to exploit the new "Ignore columns" option.
Great! :!:
Thank you.

A case of ignorance :-)

It seems that "ignore case" is ignored in word wrap mode.

Re: Cancel, please!

Sometimes pressing esc is more effective than clicking "cancel".

Re: Crash but no minidump

Just in case you wonder: no, for the search I didn't use the Windows search, even if the XP version was better that the one of Windows 10.
I used a special tool (xplorer2, for the records).

Re: Crash but no minidump

Already done at least three times!
The only files .dmp that I have in my HDD are from Chromium, except one from LibreOffice.

Re: Crash but no minidump

%SystemRoot% expands to C:\WINDOWS and that directory has no Minidump subdir.

Re: Icon

Rarely used, I agree. But I had to merge two branches of a project with many files and a subdir structure. I compared the two directories to see which files needed merging (i.e. were different) then, using "Merge matched", I reconciled the two branches a file at a time. Since, as far as I ...

Re: No ignore blank lines?

This was a deliberate design choice
I supposed it, but still I haven't clear exactly why.
Anyway, thank you.

Re: Crash but no minidump

The only files .dmp that I have in my HDD are from Chromium, except one from LibreOffice. By the way: I said "XP". There's no "C:\Users\<your_user_name>\AppData\Local\CrashDumps". At most "C:\Documents and Settings\<your_user_name>\Dati applicazioni" (no "local&quo...

Re: Icon

"Merge matched", as I wrote. :) Toolbar->"Customize"->"Commands"->"All commands"->"Merge matched" or, if you prefer: Right click->"Advanced"->"Merge matched" Clipboard01.jpg N.B. Of course, I added that command to the toolbar.

Could you please add an Icon for "Merge matched" to save real estate in the toolbar? :D

Crash but no minidump

While I was experimenting with EDP 12.0.0.5 32 I had a couple of crashes. (Investigating...)
I asked to save the minidump but I'm unable to find it.
Could you please tell me what should be the minidump name and, possibly, also where it should have been saved on XP?
